If you’ve ever wondered if it’s true (and why) men crave lovemaking more than women, we (finally) have a scientific answer for you.

Contents
  1. Here’s why men are more willing to make love than women
    1. It’s the fault of multitasking
    2. Desire works differently

** Those who have (good) sex live better: science says so **

Well: yes, with exceptions, it is true.

** 10 signs to tell if sex with each other isn’t working (and take remedial action) **

Net of particular periods (and the exceptions mentioned above), it is true that for men any time is good to reach out and attempt a sexual approach, while for women it is not the same.

** What to eat to enhance sex **

And it’s all related to their different biologies.

Here’s why men are more willing to make love than women

(Continued below photo)

It’s a hormonal issue

The first explanation is all hormonal: women’s sex drive is linked to the menstrual cycle.

** Do you have enough sex? Here’s the formula to find out **

That’s why there are days of the month when libido kicks in and others when you’ll just want to sleep deeply.

This does not happen to men, who instead possess a more or less constant amount of testosterone.

It’s the fault of multitasking

Women often fill multiple roles that require constant presence (mother, partner, professional, friend, daughter, etc.) more than is socially (erroneously) required of men.

This means that the amount of energy spent during the day is significantly higher.

And at the end of the day all of this also takes a toll on libido, which -unfortunately- is one of the first things that gets pushed aside when fatigue takes over.

Desire works differently

Male desire is mostly mechanical; female desire, on the other hand, must be cultivated and stimulated.

Cultivating it requires intimacy, words, and a good deal of complicity between partners.

Therefore, the type of relationship between the two lovers is decisive in triggering desire.

For example, if on the other side we will have a person who is only interested in the act itself, it will be much more difficult for the woman to feel pleasure and therefore to feel like even starting.
